Assignment:
To redesign the brand identity and move away from the conventional images and styling normally associated with event groups whilst differentiating the company from its competitors.
The planned activities in the re-launch included all elements of the brand, including company logo, brochures, folders, business cards, stationary and a range of other marketing materials.
Background:
The Vivid Event Group is made up of three of the UK’s top event management and services companies. They have considerable experience in all areas of corporate events, hospitality, entertainment, team building and incentives, Christmas parties, conferences and awards.
Vivid have a substantial and impressive client list including many FTSE 100 and blue chip companies such as Marks and Spencer’s, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and many more in both the UK and worldwide.
Insight:
With their years of experience Vivid wanted to shift their brand image to a new and more dynamic representation of the company.
As an established company, Vivid were keen to stay loyal to what had worked in the past. Our challenge was to bring the company into the forefront of the event management industry and differentiate them from their competitors.
Creative development:
We created a design that challenged the traditional layouts of images of people and events and questioned what exactly an events management company should bring to its clients. We wanted to demonstrate that being different and standing out from the crowd is imperative in this competitive industry, so focussed the re-launch on ‘being different’ and that being just OK isn’t good enough.
Through a series of confident and striking designs we created a range of marketing materials that reflected the companies alternative approach to the events management industry.
Timing:
From concept to delivery the re-launch took 6 weeks.
Results:
The new look company has re-launched in October 2008.
