Success is relative - a small project requiring little finance but solid support can be just as rewarding as an enormous undertaking where the Foundation provides just one essential cog in the creation of a mighty machine. The Rotherwick Foundation has supported many worthy causes and these are but a few examples to show the diversification and success of its aims: • A donation to the North Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust in Basingstoke towards the purchase and maintenance of equipment used in Cardiac related diseases; • Financial assistance over several years to Queen Victoria Hospital to provide imaging and ventilation equipment and care facilities; • Helping children to enjoy the Outdoor Education Centre facilities at Hindleap Warren and providing activities for those with special needs and disabilities; • A contribution to the building, equipping and running of the Hospice in the Weald at Pembury; • Financially assisting on a yearly basis the Marie Curie Cancer Care Nursing in the communities of our associated Hotels; • Support for the education of children at several primary and secondary schools in Sussex and Hampshire including Lord Wandsworth College and Nutley Primary School; • A defibrillator donated to Ashdown Forest Health Centre in Forest Row and Hook Surgery.
